The following is information that may assist you in filling out the nomination forms for the Project Kampfire Kamp Kiwanis Leadership Camp program:

The Kamp Kiwanis Leadership Camp program is designed for youth who show great leadership potential and are finishing grade 7 through 11, and would like to develop those skills further.
We are not able to adequately provide for youth with serious behavioural concerns.
Through fundraising and other income generating efforts, Project Kampfire fully sponsors all campers.
There is no charge for participants selected for this unique experience.
The Kamp Kiwanis Leadership Camp program provides nature studies, arts & crafts, themed activities, cabin games, and kid led activities. The camper to staff ratio is 10:1 (each group will have up to 20 campers with a minimum of 2 staff). All Kamp Kiwanis Leadership Camp staff pass a police security clearance and receive training to implement our programs.
Summer 2025 Camp Programs will be taking place at Camp Connect located off Highway 68 on the North Side of Sibbald Lake.

By completing a nomination form this child will be considered for a position at the camp along with other nominations from Calgary and area if this child is selected a health and permission form along with a confirmation of enrollment will be sent to the email provided.

Completing the nomination form does not automatically enroll the child in the Kamp Kiwanis Leadership Camp program.

If a health and permission form and enrollment registration is not recieved it is because the child has been placed on a waiting list. Children on the waiting list can be offered a position at camp at a later time.

Selection will begin May 4, 2025 and those children will be notified by email in May. Parents or guardians must confirm the child's attendance by returning a health and permission form.
